A lot is discussed nowadays in art schools about Socially-Engaged Arts, Participation, Collaboration and Cocreation. But what does that really mean? - That we have to find a middle ground and a blended artistic medium in order to work together? Real life is much more complex than that. We are often challenged by creating with parties that we don’t necessarily agree, and among disciplines we find hard to collaborate or we feel ourselves uncomfortably unskillful. This co-creation project aimed to provide PPS and MOM students with experience and tools to work and produce knowledge collectively and to create performances in small groups to be shared with the Fontys and Tilburg community. Students explored methods of working, creating and performing together by having a dissensus as a theme. During the final performances, corridors and rooms of the FHK building got filled with collective creative practices and experiments!
